I have a beautiful black and white portrait of me and my Mom hanging in my studio at work. This is one of my most treasured possessions because my Mom passed away 8 years ago, so sometimes when I look at this portrait, I am incredibly thankful that her cousin was a professional photographer, and captured this intimate moment between Mother and daughter. 

Capturing treasured moments for my clients is one of my favorite things to do as well. During these upcoming hot summer months, a family studio session (in the air conditioning), would be a wonderful gift to give yourself and your loved ones. Black and white images help to show the connection and emotion and cut back on the background distractions that we sometimes encounter during outdoor sessions.
